Voices in the Night features musical performances in a wide variety of genres, with the majority of the songs sung a cappella.

"Since 1999, the summer musical revue has been a valuable part of the Starkville Community Theatre. This summer, our tradition continues. Every one of our musical revues has been unique, and this summer is no exception," said M.J. Etua, the show's director and one of its performers. "This year, we present old favorites you haven't heard in the longest time and some new twists on old tunes and some current pop hits. Some songs will have a piano or guitar accompaniment and some ring out with just voices."

Most of the songs being performed by the 13-member cast of 'Voices in the Night' feature multi-part harmony. The cast consists of both veteran SCT performers and newcomers.
