Carl meets Babs on a cruise at the midnight buffet when they both reach for the last stuffed mushroom. Three days later, they're married. When Babs' daughter, Freddie, points out the difference in their age - Babs is 73; Carl is only 60 - Carl confesses that he finds Babs captivating. However, it seems Carl wants to sell his business and retire. He wants to relax, play some golf, do some reading, putter around in the garden and keep from getting tense. Having a 73-year-old wife fits his plans exactly! But, as it turns out, Babs likes living in the city in an apartment. She likes being a part of the excitement, likes to BE exciting. And she is NOT looking forward to a peaceful retirement. The complications keep things moving and hilarious.
