At a large, tastefully appointed Sneden's Landing townhouse, the Deputy Mayor of New York has just shot himself. Though only a flesh wound, four couples are about to experience a severe attack of Farce...
The couples have gathered to celebrate the tenth wedding anniversary of the Deputy Mayor and his wife, but the host lies bleeding in the other room and his wife is nowhere in sight. His lawyer, Ken decides on a cover-up which gets harder to sustain as the other guests arrive and nobody can remember what can be told about whom.
Doors slam and hilarity abounds as the couples get more and more crazed up trying to sort things out. And as the confusions and mis-communications mount, the evening spins off into classic farcical hilarity.
