June 20-23 and 27-29, 1996

Newlyweds, Peter and Frances Hunter have more than the usual mother-in-law and financial problems. Their lives are complicated by a surprising delivery from the "Scandinavian Glassware Company" that turns out to be a lot more provocative than glassware. From the moment the package arrives, life becomes increasingly crazy as they attempt to return the package, avoid prison and put a stop to any further delivery of "glassware."

Adding to the growing confusion are a nervous cashier, a mother-in-law romancing the bank manager, an auditor, a police superintendent, some delivery people and a couple of ladies of the evening.

Our New Home
As you can see, this theatre is a work in progress. We have been searching for a home downtown for many years and we have finally found it. This is the old Katz Building which we purchased last fall using BORROWED MONEY. The renovation to this point is a product of lots of volunteers (more than 3,000 hours) and more BORROWED MONEY. In addition to the entrance lobby and the seating and acting spaces, there will be dressing rooms and storage in the basement and an upper lobby that will be available for art shows, community meetings and receptions. We will be starting a capital campaign beginning with a gala at the first production of the 1996-1997 season, and we will be asking your help to finish making the theatre a beautiful, permanent part of the Starkville community.
