Starkville Community Theatreis making some changes to its Youth Theatre Guild. All youth activites, including monthly guild meetings, the summer's long-running Project P.L.A.Y. and the newly established youth musical, will now be under the heading of SCT's Rising Stars.
We are very excited to continue to improve our youth services and look forward to what this new change will bring.
A little informatio about our new Rising Stars monthly meetings:
Who: Theatre lovers aged 8 - 17
What: Monthly workshops led by local theatrical amateurs and professionals, geared to foster development of performance and technical theater knowledge and skills among area youth
When: 1st Saturday of the month, October 2009 - May 2010, 9 a.m. to noon
(except January)
Where: Starkville Community Theatre, 108 East Main
(occasional other locations TBA)
How: Register with parent/adult present at 8:45 just before any workshop.
Why: For the love of live performance!
Cost: $5.00 per participant
